Parent’s Information

The necessary information to our Parents for a joyful and fruitful academic experience

Emirates KinderCare Nursery beholds rules and regulations which reflect a proper and decent environment for the children in accordance with the national laws.

 

Dress Code:

  1. Children within the age group 2 years – 4 years should come wearing the proper EEI’s uniform along with comfortable shoes. Others, are advised to wear comfortable and proper clothes.
  2. It is highly recommended to wear shorts under dresses.
  3. The EEI is not responsible for the loss of any jewellery.

Health and Safety:

  1. Every Monday, the children’s nails are checked for hygiene purposes. A memo will be sent to the parents of whom their children’s nails are long.
  2. In case of emergencies where a relative or a friend will be picking the child up, the parents should inform the administration and a copy of the accompanied person’s Emirates ID will be taken.
  3. It is highly advised to provide extra snacks for children who will be staying after 4:00 pm.
  4. The nursery cannot accept children who have any flu symptoms to help in preventing the possible transmission to other children.
  5. Medications are prohibited to be given to children without providing a copy of the medical prescription to the administration.

Children Evaluation:

Emirates KinderCare Nursery’s academic team evaluates the children regularly on monthly basis and throughout the term (3-months).

  1. Entry level: after the first week of registration or trial week where a general report is generated and shared with the parents.
  2. Monthly basis: every classroom teacher nominates the star of the month where a picture of the children is posted on social media.
  3. By term: every child is evaluated in a progress report according to the previously mentioned educational pillars where two teacher-parent meetings are held per year after sharing the progress reports.

Required Necessities:

Emirates KinderCare Nursery keeps track of all the children’s necessities in the EEI to provide them with all the care and safety they need.

  1. An extra pair of shoes to be kept at the EEI to provide an ultimate hygiene and safe environment for the children.
  2. A bed cover, pillow, and blanket for the children who will be napping throughout the day, or as per the parent’s instructions.
  3. The necessities required for the age group of Baby Steps (45 days – 24 months):
    • Diapers
    • Soap
    • Bed cover, blankets, and a pillow
    • Towels
    • Creams
    • Formula Milk or Cerelac, if necessary
    • All bed covers, blankets, and pillows are returned on weekly basis to be cleaned at home.
    • All towels are returned on daily or weekly basis, according to the parent’s preference.
    • All necessities should be labelled by the parents to avoid confusion.

Events and Activities:

Emirates KinderCare Nursery plans educational and fun events and activities for the children to expand their knowledge during the monthly academic theme and throughout the Seasonal Camps (which are available on a separate page), whereas there is one (1) charged activity per month as previewed in the below booklet:
